Greetings from your brothers at Acacia Itasca Lodge. The time has finally come where we can no longer put off necessary repairs to our building. As costs keep rising it gets harder and harder to make ends meet. Each year we seem to be operating in the “red”. Dues alone do not suffice.

First and foremost the officers and trustees agreed that the heating system needed to be replaced We felt this would be a good investment as a more efficient boiler system will reduce our heating costs and eventually pay for itself.

Other work needed in the near future will be repairs to the roof and possibly replacing some of the windows with more energy efficient ones.

Our Masonic Lodge Building has many years of history and good memories. We need to preserve it.

At this time we asking all of our fellow brothers for any contributions they could possibly make toward these repairs. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please make your check payable to Acacia Itasca Lodge. Please state if you want it to go to the building fund so it will not be mistaken for dues.

On a lighter note, don’t forget our annual Bunny Hunt is coming up soon. If you’ve never been to one don’t worry. Come this time. We really don’t hunt, we just have fun, target shoot eat good, play cards, bon-fire etc. at the Eisenmann hunting shack. Call for directions. As of this writing it is set for Saturday, March 8th. Watch our website for any changes.

We are planning a Friend’s Night for Friday February 22nd. Social at 5:30pm. Dinner at 6:00pm. Please come and bring a friend.
